Hello, my name is Alyssa Smith. This is my first year teaching ans I am excited to meet each and everyone of my students and their parents. Before going into my own classroom, I have worked in an afterschool and summer program at my church. I enjoyed doing both because I feel like I was getting experiance for when I go into my classroom.
I have 3 siblings. 1 brother and 2 sisters. I have an older sister, twin sister and a younger brother. Growing up, I have had two dogs named Rosie and Chrissy as well as a cat named Socks. I have moved twice growing up so it was hard making new friends when we moved.
For my teaching philosphy this year is that all students are able to learn and can ask for help without being embarressed. Students should always be able to ask for help from their teachers and parents.
